How do I check the status of my order?

You can visit the “my orders” page of “my account” section on the website. You can see the status of order(s) by clicking on the relevant order(s)

How do I add or remove products after placing my order?

You can modify (add or remove any number of items) the order at any time till it is “processed”. After an order is processed and you need to add more items, you can place a new order for those new items. If you need to remove some items after the order is “processed”, you can cancel the whole order and place a new order for your chosen items. Please note the cancellation is only possible till the order is “out-for-delivery”.

How can I check availability of slot before placing the order?

The delivery slot is visible as a drop down selection on the checkout page of the cart.

Can I change delivery slot after placing order?

Yes, you can modify it, till the order status is “under processing”. Once an order is processed, then the delivery slot cannot be modified, but you can cancel the order – till the time the order is “out for delivery

What are the modes of payment?

The money got deducted from my card but the payment status says unsuccessful?

In rare instances, due to networking errors, it can happen that a payment card is deducted while the payment does not go through. Please wait for some time. Normally, the amount gets credited back to your card within a few minutes. If that does not happen, please contact us with the details of the issue and we will help you. Please rest assured, we will not retain your payment for which the order has not been placed or is not fulfilled.

What is Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Cash on delivery means that you can pay for your order at the time of order delivery at your doorstep. It is available in selected locations.

What is “My Wallet” on Goavis.in?

My Wallet” is an online account associated with the user’s “My Account” section on the website that allows them to have a pre-paid credit amount. You can use this prepaid account credit to shop multiple times without having to pay each time. Following are the means to obtain sums in your “My Wallet”: i) you can add money using any of the payment means available on our website (except EMI and Cash-on-Delivery)and top-up your balance, ii) you can receive referral credits, iii) you can receive refund or cancellation credits from cancelled orders, iv) you can receive bonus points, at our discretion, depending on your purchases on the GoAvis website and based on our internal criteria.

Is delivery date & slot dependent on the products I order?

Yes, the available delivery date/delivery slot shows the earliest delivery date/delivery slot that you can choose assuming the product being ordered is available. But for certain products which have limited availability or which we source from third party to fulfill your order, the delivery time can be longer. If you add any of those products to the cart, the earliest available “delivery date/delivery slot” might not change automatically but we will inform you before processing your order via a phone call or message.

What if my order delivery gets delayed?

We will attempt to contact you in case of delay and take your approval before attempting a late or a changed delivery. You will also have option to cancel such an order and get full refund.

How much are the delivery charges?

Delivery is free for order size > INR 750.00 Deliver charges for order size < INR 750.00 are shown on the order confirmation page before payments are made, those may vary from Rs 50 to Rs 100 depending on your location.

When will I receive my order?

Once you are done selecting your products and click on checkout you will be prompted to select “date” and “delivery slot”. Your order will be delivered to you on the date and slot selected by you. If we are unable to deliver the order during the specified time duration (this can sometimes happen due to unforeseen situations) we will contact you to update you of the situation and take your approval before attempting delivery on a different date or a different time slot.

What are the delivery slots?

There are four delivery slots to choose from. Delivery slots are as follows: • 8AM - 11AM • 11AM - 2PM • 5PM - 7PM • 7PM - 9PM

Are there any cancellation charges?

If you cancel an order before the status changes to “out-for-delivery”, no cancellation fee is charged. If due to any unforeseen circumstance you have to cancel after the order is “out-for-delivery”, please call us on customer care and we will assist you. However, if you are not available or reachable at the time of delivery, and the order remains undelivered due to no takers for the delivery, a cancellation charge shall apply. The amount of cancellation charges shall be equal to amount of the fresh products in your order (which are spoiled as a result of non-delivery and hence a direct loss to us). If a non-delivery occurs due to delivery person’s mistake or any other error on our part, we will cancel the order and provide you with full refund.

Is it possible to order an item which is out of stock?

We provide the facility of “notify when available”. For a product which is out-of-stock currently, you can request to be notified as soon as it is available. You will receive an SMS and an email when the product is replenished in stock, so that you can place order.

How can I cancel an order?

You can cancel an order, till the order status changes to “out for delivery”. Once the order is out for delivery it can’t be cancelled due to perishable nature of product. In case of an urgent request, you can call us on customer care number.

What are delivery slots?

Delivery slot is your preferred time slot which you chose at the time of ordering, during which you can expect the order to be delivered

Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on GoAvis?

Yes it is absolutely safe to use your card on <(Frugivore.in change it to Goavis.in)> Our payment gateway is managed by Razorpay which uses a 256 bit encrypted system to manage the payment system. We do not store or record any of your credit/debit card data on GoAvis’s website.

If I pay by credit card how do I get the amount back for items not delivered?

If we are not able to deliver all the products in your order and you have already paid for them online, the balance amount will be refunded to either: i) to your “My wallet” credit balance, or ii) the source of payment within 7 working days.

Are there any charges or taxes in addition to the price shown? Is GST added to the invoice?

There might be delivery fees associated with your location, which will be shown in the order review page before you confirm the order. GST, applicable as per government regulations, is included in the MRP shown to you on website.

Do you provide same day delivery?

Yes, we are providing same day deliveries for certain pin codes in Kolkata. There can be many times when you might not find any same day time slot as they get closed when full.

How do I change the delivery info (address to which I want products delivered)?

You can change your delivery info (your contact number or address) before the order status is “out for delivery”. You can visit “My orders” page in the “My account” section and click on the order for which you want to edit these details. If the status has not changed to “Out-for-delivery” yet, you can change the details.

What is the minimum order for delivery?

The minimum order value for delivery is Rs 300. We don’t accept orders below this amount.

How can I cancel my order?

What is the availability of frozen fruits & are they economical?

Frozen fruits are economical because you don’t pay for non edible or damaged fruits. 100% of product is edible. They are ready to use - no preparation time wasted. No sorting, cleaning, peeling, slicing, They’re also never out of season & available all year long, so you can consume a much wider variety of produce.

How to store frozen fruits?

Temperature of Frozen berries must remain in the freezer at -18 degrees celcius. All fruits and vegetables that are snap frozen can be stored for up to 2 years from the production/harvest date.

How to cook with frozen fruits?

Always use frozen berries straight from the freezer for cooking and baking – no need to defrost. When using whole frozen berries in baking don't thaw them first - they require very little thawing anyway and will retain their shape better, as well as being less prone to 'bleeding' juice through the mix. Gently fold frozen berries into pies, cakes and muffins just prior to baking.

How do your products have a shelf life of 12-24 months without preservatives?

We use frozen technology to freeze and store the fruits. This technology helps fruits to retain all its nutrients & water contents and helps to store fruits upto 24 months storing it in -18 degree temperature.

What is the difference between jams & preserves?

Jams are made with pureed fruit and have a smooth & spreadable texture, while preserves are made with chopped fruit that results in a chunkier texture with bites of fruit in it. Our style at TGJ is to make preserves.

What is a Blast Frozen fruit?

Blast Freezing means a flash freezing fast paced temperature gradually decreasing within 70-100 seconds from -10 degree C to -40 degree C, which helps minimize the size of ice crystals formed inside food products, prevents the destruction of fruits natural structure, bringing freshness as well as keeping the nutrients intact in the frozen fruits. Fruits are Blast Freeze for 45 minutes after which they are stored in cold room at -18 degree C.

Does Frozen fruits are nutritious?

Frozen fruits provide the same essential nutrients and health benefits as fresh. They retain their nutritional value longer, and they are preserved at their peak, not before. Fruits are frozen when they are at their peak of freshness

Are frozen fruits convenient to use?

Frozen fruits are easy and quick to prepare and serve. One can prepare only what is needed at the time and store the rest for another time. This is great for individuls or small famillies.

How to use frozen fruits at home?

Thawing: Generally, for most uses ie smoothies, baking, poaching, etc, there is no need to defrost the frozen berries and fruits. However, occasionally there are certain recipes when frozen berries and fruits require defrosting. If you do need to defrost we recommend the following: To preserve the natural shape and size of the fruit and prevent crushing, remove quantity required, place in shallow container such as a baking tray and place in the refrigerator. Handle fruit with care. Do not re-freeze once thawed. Once thawed, fruit will generally last only a few days in the refrigerator (2-3 days)

How long frozen products/IQF fruits last in my home freezer?

A. Frozen vegetables and fruit stored at -18°C can last up to one year, but self-defrosting freezers take their toll. Every time the system goes through a thaw cycle, the contents of the freezer thaw slightly and then re-freeze when the cycle is completed. Each time this happens, some of the moisture inside the food leaches out and forms ice crystals. Eventually, the food starts to look withered due to lack of moisture. Frozen vegetables and fruit will start to show the effects of age after about six months.

How IQF & frozen fruits are better than fresh vegetables?

A. The products are quickly frozen below the temperature at which bacterial, mould and yeast growth occurs. IQF & frozen fruits have benefits of: 1. Best freshness close to natural freshness 2. Are your products organic?

No. Our products are made with both natural and organic ingredients. But you can be rest assured that everything you buy from us is completely natural, free of any harmful chemicals, preservatives or additives.

Can I leave your products outside after opening?

No. Our products are completely natural and contain no preservatives; they need to be refrigerated after opening. Honey is the only product you can leave outside (In fact, it should never be refrigerated).

Do you have sugar free preserves/jams?

Yes our preserves & jams are sugar free. We use either jiggery or honey for sweetness. But as our fruits are natural sweetener, it helps us in adding sweetness from outside.

How do I register?

We do not have a return policy. All orders once placed are final.

Do I have to necessarily register on GOAVIS.in to start shopping?

Can I add more than one delivery address in an account?

Do we deliver across India?

Yes we do, but it should be in bulk quantity. As our products are all cold chain products that are very sensitive to heat & humidity, and need constant refrigeration. Hence we can only deliver in bulk only for Pan India.

The box I have received is damaged. What do I do?

Please do not accept the package from the courier partner if you find it damaged. We do our best to ensure that our packaging protects the glass jars, but in rare cases damages do happen because of mishandling by couriers in transit. In case you find a damaged jar inside the package upon opening, please take a picture and get in touch with us on Instagram, Whatsapp or Email. We will ship you a replacement right away!
